PRODUCTIONS
At the civil engineering and construction organization where I was employed as a Technical Writer-Producer, video was used primarily as a tool to document pre-existing site conditions and to analyze work operations for production efficiencies and identification of waste. Occasionally, more complex and interesting corporate video productions were required, and I was tapped to script, produce and direct them. I’ve posted four such productions below.
Three of the videos are expressions of the organization’s commitment to safety, career development and the AI Production System, the company’s proprietary production management system. Despite relatively simple production design and minimal budget, they effectively communicate their messages, educating and inspiring employees to engage in continual improvement, personal growth and safety consciousness. The fourth production is a simple meeting documentation video for executives and employees who were unable to attend the event.
